What if your winter is far from being called “traditional” and it’s still green and above zero outside? Just add more whites in your home decor! I decided to make “White Christmas” for my friend :)

        Каждый сезон приносит в нашу жизнь  разные,  присущие только ему краски. Зима - это все таки белый цвет, которым как нарядной скатертью покрывается земля, чтобы встретить Рождество и Новый год... Что делать если ваша зима далека от традиционной и за окном все та же зелень и плюсовая температура? Добавить как можно больше белого цвета в свой интерьер.  Я решила сделать это для своей подруги :)

Christmas Placemats /Рождественские салфетки

  My love to Scandinavian motifs is obvious ;) I just love its minimalistic but very laconic design:  “Genius is simplicity”. And here is the “proof” of my love: I decided to pair up my Christmas Pillows with a couple of placemats and ... a table runner to be followed!

 Моя любовь к скандинавским узорам очевидна;)  Люблю их за минимализм и лаконичность: “Все гениальное просто.” А вот и “доказательство” моей любви:  к моим Рождественским подушкам я решила добавить салфетки и ...чуть позже скатерть!

Christmas Pillows/ Рождественские подушки

     It’s never too early to start getting ready for Christmas. At least for me! I’m always too excited to wait any longer than the day right after Thanksgiving! This year to create a festive look I used very different but at the same time quite recognisable elements of Christmas decoration: Scandinavian cross stitch motifs (love, love, love them), Tartar fabric and Elegant silk.

   Рождественские подушки: немного шелка, чуть-чуть шотландки и конечно же любимые скандинавские мотивы и праздничное настроение обеспечено!

There is something magical about needlework! Isn’t it?

My first couple stitches I made with the help of my Grandmother. Since then I’ve learnt how to knit, crochet, sew, embroider, you just name it and now I love to mix them up! My favourite one is cross-stitching though :)
